This year – 2020, will be known as a year that transported us from a world we knew into a world that’s defined by completely different rules. And as we are hurtling into the new world – known as the next normal or the new normal, we all look peer out of the window panes as while the train is still moving, trying to ascertain what exactly the destination will look like, and what will be the contours of this new world.
No one has the true picture, since the picture itself is evolving. But if we can grasp even little pieces of the jigsaw, we can try and make sense of the changing reality a tad bit better. Some people are closer to the action and thus have better perspectives – because they are industry leaders with a view from the top. And then there are others grabbing out little pieces of experience and getting a small piece out of the big picture. Guts, Glory and Story is not an attempt to capture the story of any individual – but rather, of all of us, who are battling Covid19 in our own way. As we attempt to decode the next normal, we will run two parallel streams – for starters, we will attempt to read the direction of the wind in specific industries as it navigates the crisis. Here, we speak to the top leaders in the industry.
Secondly we will unlock peer to peer inspiration through every day human stories of students, families, professionals, entrepreneurs, senior citizens as they fight the crisis and prepare for the next normal. Both formats will run in parallel on LinkedIn, YouTube and Facebook. The interview series will be run in a live webinar every Saturday starting 15th August 2020 between 6 and 7 pm. The human stories channel will release 2-3 video stories throughout the week. By this initiative we hope to contribute in our little way to get a better grasp of the Covid crisis and will be only be too happy if it helps people cope with it in a better way.

He is as an active investor and currently is the Chairman of Istakapaza Pvt Ltd, a blockchain based marketplace startup, and YGC, Your Green Canvas, a greens company.
Sinha’s path-breaking book on business strategy, ‘Achieving Successful Business Outcomes’ recently published by Taylor & Francis, NY and London, has received global acclaim and T&F called this title out as one amongst the top six globally, from their list of 145,000 titles worldwide. Steven Sonsino of the London Business School had called the book as “The missing manual for CXOs”.
A hands-on leader in the Technology and Software industry with over 3 decades of track record in driving successful outcomes in the areas of leadership, business management and strategy. He has been credited with creating a highly successful innovation program in his previous companies generating multiple thousands of man-days of cutting-edge innovation outputs and patents every year. He instituted a unique ‘reverse’ mentoring programs for his top management by the millennial workforce. He formulated and implemented a very successful mini-CEO program that has helped turnaround sinking, negative EBIT firms into high growth and highly profitable organizations. A prolific writer, he is also a visiting Professor at various Business Schools.
Sinha is an Electrical Engineering graduate from Punjab Engineering college, Chandigarh and a post graduate in Business Management from XLRI, Jamshedpur, India.
Sangram Surve is the founder-director of Think WhyNot – a cross-media strategic consulting and implementation agency. He has over 20 years of experience in advertising, strategic marketing and Event Management. He has worked on several brands across industries and is responsible for building many from scratch. Over the years, he has worked for brands like Visa, Proctor & Gamble, HSBC, DBS, ICICI Bank, Cox & Kings, Skoda, Aditya Birla Life Insurance, Penguin Randomhouse, HarperCollins, Hachette, Essel Group, Viacom18 amongst many others. His experiments in advertising have resulted in several innovations that stretched the boundaries of conventional advertising. Through his advertising work, he has created several intellectual properties including books, TV Shows and Music Albums. His love for books saw him create cutting edge marketing solutions for books and is responsible for several memorable campaigns for authors like Amish Tripathi, Ravi Subramanian, Ashwin Sanghi, Ravinder Singh amongst others. He also created the country’s first Litfest for Popular Literature called Litomania.
Amongst his many passions is Film Making, and he produced his first feature film called Cycle under his banner – Happy Minds Entertainment. Cycle was selected by Maharashtra state to be represented at the Cannes Film Festival in 2017. Cycle won several awards including one national award and a state award and was showcased in many international Film Festivals. It was later distributed by Viacom18 International and released on Netflix.
Sangram also co-founded and created Enchantico along with author Ravi Subramanian, and his wife Shalini, India’s book subscription service company for children. Enchantico won India’s best book subscription box for kids for 2 years in a row.
He is a wildlife photographer, avid reader and a conservationist championing for animal rights.
